Example scenarios
What it could look like for you
These are examples, not finished projects. I set up each automation around the way you work.
Example 1
Booking inquiries
- The situation
- A guesthouse or restaurant gets emails every day asking about free dates and prices.
- What the automation does
- It reads the inquiry, finds the answer in the price list and the availability overview, and drafts a reply.
- What stays with you
- You review the draft, edit it if needed and send it.
Example 2
Orders into a spreadsheet
- The situation
- Customers send orders by email and you copy them into a spreadsheet by hand.
- What the automation does
- It pulls the name, items, quantities and date from each order and writes them into Google Sheets. Orders it can't read are flagged.
- What stays with you
- You check the spreadsheet and go through the flagged orders yourself.
Example 3
Morning inbox summary
- The situation
- You can't read every email during the day, and an important message is easy to miss.
- What the automation does
- Every morning it sends a short summary to your phone: what came in, what's waiting for a reply and what's urgent.
- What stays with you
- You decide what to deal with first.
